I help upper elementary teachers like YOU integrate STEM and STEAM activities into the curriculum you already teach so that you can maximize student learning and engagement.

Way back in 2008, I attended a PD session about something called science inquiry. The idea that students learn best through a process of questioning, investigation, and discovery resonated deeply with me.

Over the next six years as a 5th grade teacher, I developed a passion for teaching through inquiry across the entire curriculum. I fell in love with STEAM as I helped develop a school-wide program to integrate inquiry methods with engineering design and content from state standards

It’s a given that student engagement – and achievement! – skyrockets when we provide hands-on, student centered learning activities. But… as a classroom teacher, I never had enough prep time to create all of the in-depth, rigorous activities I wanted to use with my students. Can you relate???

Fast forward to now, while I’m taking a break from the classroom to take care of my boys at home. I still haven’t figured out how to add more hours to a day, but I’m now able to invest my time developing all those awesome STEM, STEAM, and inquiry based resources I wanted to create back when I was busy teaching. I love knowing that my Elementary Inquiry resources have now been used by thousands of teachers and their students all around the world!

Will you let me help you engage your students in STEM and inquiry based learning, too?
